Hello! My name is Elena and I am an Artist based in Bristol, UK.
I like to explore a range of media within my work and I am enthusiastic about learning new techniques and skills. My work is often playful and energetic with a focus on character, colour and humour. I am influenced by Film, Television, Science Fiction and History; the odder the better. The combination of the surreal and the mundane is a reoccurring theme in my work; and my work often features Monsters, Myths and Aliens.
I co-created Breakthrough Art Fair; as a way for inexperienced Artists to sell their work and meet other creatives. Our goal with Breakthrough is to be inclusive, affordable and diverse; creating a friendly atmosphere for artists to make connections and make money.
I am a freelance workshop facilitator and host art workshops; often working with young people and vulnerable groups. I have worked with Our Creative Community, Streams Learning Hub and the RWA.
