About me:

Hello! My name is Elena. I am an Artist based in Bristol, UK, and I draw cats!

I make artwork of cats, birds, nature and mythology. I like to explore a range of media within my work and I am enthusiastic about learning new techniques and skills. I mainly make linoprints, gouache paintings, Fimo badges and decorations. 

​

A range of artist influence my work, including Alphonse Mucha, Sibylline Meynet, Emi Guijarro, Edward Gorey and William Morris. I am inspired by Television, Science Fiction, mythology, nature and History.

I am a freelance workshop facilitator and host art workshops; often working with young people and vulnerable groups. I have worked with Our Creative Community, Streams Learning Hub, UWE International college and the RWA.

​

I regularly sell my work at markets and shops around Bristol; I sell items including greetings cards, stickers, T shirts and handmade badges. My goal is to make fun, vibrant, inexpensive, accessible artwork and use recycled materials and compostable packaging.
