More T's Please!

Hi there, welcome once again to my roughly monthly blog post. This is the pace for updates and thoughts so please feel free to look through more of these blog posts.

This month I am talking all things Lino Printed T shirts. The T shirts that I have been trialling since about November have been going down really well, so I have put more emphasis in making more.

The T shirts that I make are, of course, Lino Printed plain T Shirts; I get these T shirts from charity shops so that I can support charities, recycle textiles that may find themselves in landfill, not contribute to unethical textile manufacturing and to test and feel quality before purchasing. As I pick these up from charity shops, there is a range of sizes and colours and each is unique - therefor quite hard to have a consistent stock if someone is looking for something in particular. I think as time goes on I'll be able to be more consistent with what I can offer and fulfil for customers.

I have been using oil based lino ink, as this clings to the fabric. Of course the print will fade after many wears and washes, but as does everything. I heat treat the print too.

Due to the large range of differences in T shirts, I haven't put them up on etsy or online store yet, as it is quite a lot of effort for each individual listing. I have recently found a stash of large white T's and medium

grey T's, so maybe this will be a start of a more efficient way of T shirt printing.

Currently I have only been using two designs for shirts; Tuxedo cat and Crow, as these are my best selling cards. If there are any designs your would like to see in the future then please contact me.

Anyway, hopefully this has given some insight into where I have been putting effort recently. If you have any ideas/requests/questions about the T shirts then please contact me, I'd love to hear from you!
